Nobles,
From all comments received, we had a successful spring session in Saratoga Springs, NY over the weekend of May 2-4, 2008. Friday afternoon was set aside for Counterparts. Later many went to the Saratoga Harness Track and Gaming and Racing (Racino) for dinner and entertainment. Others sought out some of the many restaurants the City has to offer.
Imperial Dir. Douglas E. Maxwell and his lady Patricia were with us for the weekend. Imperial Sir Maxwell held an open forum on Saturday morning and was joined by Past Imperial Potentate Ralph Semb, Chairman of the Board of our Hospital Corporation. Mark Neiderpruem and his lady Christine joined us for lunch and Mark spoke about the Branding Program and how marketing our hospitals is changing.

The general session included topics of interest including Donor Relations, Fundraising, Membership, and Leadership. A report of the bylaws committee was made and a final consolidated version of all prior revisions will be presented at the fall session for submission to Imperial Headquarters, Every one of our eleven Shrine Centers was represented and there was not an open seat in meeting room.
During and after dinner we were entertained by Electric Blue, during which time there was a brief appearance by the Blues Brothers. The atmosphere was very positive and good fellowship was abundant.
The fall session will take place in Geneva, NY beginning September 25 and ending September 28, 2008. There will be golf, a brief business session, Clown Competition, and a parade in Geneva. Since this is our annual meeting, we will elect and install new officers.
