Fall Session

Geneva, NY September 25-28, 2008

The Fall Session of the New York Ontario Shrine Association will be held in Geneva, NY beginning on Thursday, September 25 and ending Sunday morning, September 28, 2008. You and your Lady are cordially invited to attend and enjoy the fellowship with our member Shrine Center members.

As is customary at a Fall session, meeting time will be kept to a minimum to allow time for fellowship and enjoyment of the many activities that our host City of Geneva has to offer. Golf will be available on Thursday. We will be having a “dutch treat” lunch buffet at the Bellhurst Castle on Friday, followed by optional self guided winery tours, outlet mall shopping or possibly boat rides on beautiful Seneca Lake. On Saturday we have a short early morning parade through the business district, followed by some Unit competition or displays. In the afternoon we will have our traditional Necrology service, followed by an opportunity for Counterpart get togethers.

The attendance by Imperial officers will be confirmed after the Imperial Session in St. Louis. Imp. Sir Douglas Maxwell is committed to another event, but assures us that a few officers will be with us and to install the incoming officers of our association after the banquet on Saturday night. There will also be awards and entertainment.

The pricing for this session has been developed with a sensitivity of the economic conditions in which we live. It offers good value and permits individual flexibility without sacrificing the quality to which we are accustomed. The comments on the Spring session were very positive and I think you will enjoy the offering of the Fall session.

One word of caution: Early reservations are recommended. While the Ramada Inn will do its best to keep us all in one hotel, some of the later registrants may be assigned to a neighboring hotel next door. Please reserve as early as possible, but not later than August 25, 2008.
